The UC Davis Analytical Laboratory performs analyses on selected chemical constituents of soil, plant, water and waste water, and feed in support of statewide research and extension activities.

Analytical Laboratory clients are University of California academics, other educational institutions, government agencies, and research-based businesses.

New at the Lab

February 1, 2012  — OLIVE OIL TESTING

The UC Davis Analytical Laboratory is now collaborating with the UC Davis Olive Center to provide high quality, reliable testing of olive oil.  We are currently accepting olive oil samples for sensory evaluation. This testing is performed by the UC Davis Olive Oil Taste Panel. In the near future, the Laboratory will begin chemistry testing of olive oil.
